CCNP At Last!
This couple of days have been excellent, I decided to do my Switch & TSHOT exams and get to the end of the CCNP journey that I started soon after an AFNOG training in May 2010.
Yesterday I sat for the TSHOT exams & passed with 945/1000. I will now start my CCIE (R&S) studies. I am however not sure whether to do CCIE R&S or SP this is because I have worked for ISPs from 2008.

Am a Father!
On the 7/7/2013, I became a father. I was in the office when I got the news. My wife had been in labor from 9 to around 3 when she decided to go to hospital & be checked. She wanted to go back home but was informed that she had to be admitted.
With the new cover that I had from APA, I new there was no problem having her admitted in the best wards.
"Let them admit you into a private ward.". I advised her when she told that she had to be admitted. This was at around five PM.
She was admitted in the same ward that this video was shot.

I was called thirty minutes later to be informed that the water had broken & meconium was present in the water. For yet to be parents the presence of meconium before a baby is born is a crucial sign that the baby is under duress.
The attending nurse immediately recommended a CS to which I didn't object as I wanted the baby out safe.
The doctors were summoned & at round 7 PM the lady was admitted into the theatre. At around 7:30 I was called that I was a father to a handsome boy! The call was made by a sister-in-law.
I met my son the following day, as I had relocated Mombasa due to a change in jobs.
I forever thank God for the son & mother.
