Traffic loss pattern - ME3600

If you are testing connectivity between ME3600 boxes & you get a pattern on the pings, you can resolve by enabling ip routing on the boxes.

MAC as a tftp server

If you need to recover/update the image on your router or switch, the MAC offers a simple process that doesnt involve installation of external tftp software.

MAC tftp service
1. sudo launchctl load -F /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/tftp.plist (run on terminal)
2. sudo launchctl start com.apple.tftpd (run on terminal)
3. Copy the images to /private/tftpboot
4. Ensure the PC has an IP address reachable from the switch/router (direct cable / LAN)
5. Run the commands from the router/switch.

Back to Nairobi - new role

I find myself back in Nairobi just a few months after Mourinho lost his job at Chelsea FC.  Moyes who we changed roles with last time, has lost his job again. Sir. Alex Ferguson is still in retirement and relaxed even as the team he left behind struggles. Mourinho who joined Chelsea as predicted found the third season hard to manoeuvre and called it quits. A team I support is taking philosophy
classes, not sure how long that will last.

Gary Neville joined Valencia as a coach and somehow got Benitez fired after a draw.

The new role brings me back to Nairobi, and its a safe journey back to do more interesting things with a very energetic top class team.
