 On this day Ashley Young announces his intention to retire.

First Time in Nigeria

 I landed in Nigeria, a couple of hundred of years since my ancestors were here.

I feel right at home to be honest. I have met people who have wondered where we met before. 

The ordinary Nigeria looks and expresses themselves just like any East African. Kudos for them for taking care of over 200m people, its not easy.

Marathon Record Broken

 Sabastian Sawe made history at the London Marathon by becoming the first athlete to run a sub-two-hour marathon in a competitive race.

The 30-year-old Kenyan crossed the line to win in one hour 59 minutes 30 seconds, more than one minute faster than the late Kelvin Kiptum's previous record of 2:00:35, set in 2023.

Second Tooth Out

 An interesting morning, wakili decides to through in a motto when it favours her :).

"Jay give me some of that, sharing is caring." :D.

Later on we pluck out the second tooth, so mapengo mbili sasa, noma. 

WSR President

 William Samoei Ruto becomes president next week. He played a smart campaign and looks like his network both local and 'international' served his goals well.

UK seem to have tamed Raila with the handshake and BBI killing two birds with one stone.

Meeting with Paul

 So we meet today with Paul  at the parking with the promises but not much achieved so far in almost half a dozen years, this might setup a collision but we still hope for tranquility.

HE Queen Elizabeth II passed on

 On this day 8/9/2022, her excellency queen Elizabeth the second passed on in Scotland.

Subsequently Charles becomes the King of Britain.

Africell officially out

 Today marks the day when Africell via a letter shared to employees has confirmed they will be leaving the market.

 Earlier on did a good survey on some big project lets hope it goes well. 

Failed to be in a meeting today up and down, power water issues. 

"You too smart..  do I need to wear a tie?' :) fun moments.

These waiters ..  if the selection on the menu comes with tea/coffee how does the tea and coffee come as a separate item on the bill. I think that would be a tough question some guys would ask loudly if push came to shove. :)

2021

 Its 2021, 8/3, wife randomly asks, "When did my grandma pass on?"

I ask her which year, she says 2013.

When I check on this blog I see its actually 2014 and it was 8/3. May she continue resting well.

Crazy week

In a crazy one week, the whole experience that had been good got overturned on its head by a few people that conspired to mess an otherwise enjoyable feel and stay.

Loosing some items right at the start of  week changing the church going plans and making stops at some posts more sensible. The truthfulness in statements making them sound absurd as the chase for answers started.

Barely two stones turned on the first and a second necessitated by an action mos likey from the actors from the first. Almost sounding like a script from netflix which could no longer be enjoyed, only relevant thing left being the account which most likely the actors brains wouldn’t understand.

The beauty of credit cards which was clear on property acquisition blending with its risks in a space of a few weeks.

A added strain felt immediately as the budget was already tight due to some ambitious development plan. But not being new to strain there was hope that this as well wouldn’t last long. But that wasn’t the case in the first 24 hours, it’s something that grew as time went by, inversely proportinal to time.

The banana republic raising some not so positive feelings across the borders.
